Stanno per distruggermi un mito. Il regista di Star Trek 11 è JJ Abrams, il che significa:
- ogni singolo personaggio del film è, a sua insaputa, imparentato con almeno il 50% degli altri
- ogni singolo personaggio del film ha avuto in gioventù la sua vita influenzata da ognuno degli altri (ad insaputa di tutti tranne che del supercattivo)
- la storia va avanti per successive improbabili coincidenze
- il supercattivo parla veloce e ogni 15 minuti circa riesce a non farsi uccidere da uno dei buoni e a convincerlo che anche lui è segretamente buono e/o almeno condividono gli stessi scopi
- il fulcro di tutta la storia è la scoperta/invenzione/creazione di un filosofo/matematico/biologo/scrittore italiano del Rinascimento che permette a chi ne è in possesso di vivere per sempre/controllare la galassia/sapere tutto/rendere tolleranti i leghisti
- Kirk è il figlio segreto del cancelliere Klingon
- Uhura tromba Kirk ma è innamorata di Spock. Kirk lo sa.
- Rand tromba Spock ma è innamorata di Kirk. Spock lo sa.
- Tutti hanno problemi edipici

They're going to destroy one of my myths: Star Trek 11 is directed by JJ Abrams, which means:
- each character of the film is (unknowingly) a relative or at least 50% of the other characters
- each character of the film has had his/her life influenced in the past by each single one of the others - without anyone, including themselves but excluding the superbaddie, knowing
- the whole plot is developed through subsequent unlikely coincidences
- the superbaddie talks fast and every 15 minutes or so manages not to be killed by one of the good guys and to convince them that he's deep down a good guy too, or at least that they share the same goals
- the core of the whole story is the discovery/invention/creation of an Italian Renaissance philosopher/mathematician/biologist/writer that gives its owner the power to live forever/control the galaxy/know everything/turn Tories into nice people
- Kirk is the secret love child of the Klingon Chancellor
- Uhura bonks Kirk but she's secretly in love with Spock. Kirk knows.
- Rand bonks Spock but she's secretly in love with Kirk. Spock knows.
- Everyone has daddy issues
